Speed Tailored Jacket

One day workshop in Exmouth, 10am - 4pm, 35 (+materials 18). This workshop can be booked to do on any Wednesday , Friday or Saturday

A day to find out about the specialist interfacings that are often used in ready to wear jackets to give a soft tailored look whilst maintaining the structure of the jacket. The interfacings we will use are fusibles that are not normally available on the high street but you will be able to buy a speed tailoring interfacings pack that has everything you need to make one jacket.
Choose a fairly simple jacket such as Butterick 4610 as this is not a day for a Vogue advanced pattern! Please buy your pattern on your measurements not your size, pattern measurements do differ from shop bought sizes, so if your full bust measurement is 38/39" you will need a size 16 pattern.
To enrol on this workshop follow the link for a
booking form.

Following is a list of items that you will need to bring with you to the classes;

Please note;
Only glass or plastic large headed pins may be used for the courses as they are easier to see when dropped on the floor. If you do not have large headed pins you can buy a pack from me on the day. Click
