Classical Tutu Skirt

Two days, 10am - 4pm both days, 70. Date tbc.

This two day workshop is to learn the construction of a classical tutu skirt. It is very labour intensive to make and homework will be an essential part as an undecorated tutu skirt can take more than 20 hours to complete. The couture boned bodice will double as the tutu bodice so a complete tutu would consist of three days in total. You will be able to buy some fabric for the basis of the tutu skirt on the first day as well as lining fabric for the basque and any haberdashery that you might need.
If you are making the tutu skirt for someone you will need some measurements; waist, high hip, low hip, rise (waist to waist from front to back) & side waist to top of leg.

To enrol follow the link for a booking form.

Following is a list of items that you will need to bring with you to the workshop;

Please note;
Only glass or plastic large headed pins may be used for the courses as they are easier to see when dropped on the floor. If you do not have large headed pins you can buy a pack from me on the day. Click
